Newport Plum

(Prunus cerasifera ‘Newport’)       

The smaller stature and ornamental quality of the Newport plum make it a nice accent tree for Minneapolis yards and gardens. White to light pink flowers coat the branches welcoming spring with a fragrant display. People love the purple leaves of this plum and the small fruit is enjoyed by birds and other wildlife.
